Site Engineer — Highways
Run day-to-day execution on a four-lane national highway package: earthwork, pavement layers and structures, to programme and to quality.
[01] The role
What you will do
- Plan and supervise daily site activities for earthwork, GSB, WMM and bituminous layers
- Set out alignments and levels with the survey team, and check work against drawings
- Coordinate subcontractors, plant and material so each stretch meets its programme
- Maintain daily progress reports, measurement records and quality test results
- Enforce safety on site, including traffic management beside live carriageways
What you bring
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 3–6 years on highway or road projects, ideally NHAI or state PWD work
- Working knowledge of MoRTH specifications and IRC codes
- Comfortable with AutoCAD and MS Excel; able to read and check drawings
- Willing to be posted at site
