[01] About the project
In eastern Maharashtra, state highways are the links between talukas, markets and the national network. Under Hybrid Annuity Package NAG-142, RKC improved two of them to two lanes: the Bhoyegaon–Gadchandur–Jiwati road (21 km) and the Gadchandur–Patan–Wani road (53 km), both on SH-373.
The 74 km asset reached its commercial operation date in January 2024 and is held by RKC under the Hybrid Annuity Model for the Public Works Department.
Scope of work
- Improvement of 74 km of state highway to two lanes
- Pavement strengthening and reconstruction
- Culverts, minor bridges and drainage
- Road safety works, signage and markings
Built, then kept
As a HAM asset, the road does not end with construction. RKC maintains it through the concession period, and the annuity it earns depends on the road staying in the condition the contract sets.
