SH-317 carries traffic from Chargaon, Shirpur and Kalamana towards the Chandrapur district border at Wanoja. RKC improved the section from Km 182/100 to Km 204/500 (16.9 km) for the Public Works Department of Maharashtra, under the Central Road Fund, in EPC mode.

- Road safety works, signage and markings
Sourcing and community
Materials were sourced locally and local subcontractors engaged wherever possible, supporting the local economy and cutting transport emissions. During construction the site team offered work placements to local students, helped refurbish local temples and ran awareness campaigns promoting education.
